Guests of WSV greatly enjoyed the music of Step Rideau! There was lots of dancing and fun and the food was delicious!!! Cousin Mark’s Sausage and Chicken Gumbo sold out completely…and we received many compliments on Chef Sara’s bread pudding. Our wonderful guests are loving WSV, the beauty of our property (we’ve worked so hard to make it a beautiful place to visit!), the yummy food (thanks to Chef Sara and her amazing staff), the very talented bands we’ve invited, and the overall experience!!!
To our guests, neighbors and friends:
Thank you for your patience with our learning curve. This is all new to us–operating a venue, but we try extremely hard to bring an excellent product to you; so please come back again and again–we are getting better at it every weekend!!! Plus, you know the WSV wine is going to taste great, no matter what!
Seriously, a huge thanks to our amazing staff–some of us are doing this as a labor of love–namely Ken & Julie!!! Also, our paid staff, recently added Lisa McCall, is so incredible, so hard-working; and Raymond Middleton–words fail me–he does the work of at least 3 people plus he actually KNOWS what he’s doing! I say that because Raymond has varied experience, including restaurant management which is vital to us. Chef Sara’s two sidekicks in the kitchen Billy and Charissa–you two are so talented and your work ethic is commendable. Paula and Monique–love you front of the house ladies, your energy and smiles and great customer service–thanks so much! Please say Hi to our Staff and show your appreciation–we cannot do this without them. I’ll try to profile someone each week so you all can get to know our staff.
