Larry & Karen Cress – Owners
While traveling through Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand and other exotic lands, Larry and Karen began to dream about beautiful vineyards and perhaps even making wine. That dream became a reality in 2009 when Wild Stallion Vineyards was born!
Come and visit WSV and capture the vision that we have cast. It is our hope that you will want to gather around friends–both old and new–and family and make a lifetime of unforgettable memories with us.
Lisa is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Food Science and Technology, which included courses in Food Bacteriology, Food Toxicology and Safety, Food Plant Engineering, and Human Nutrition to name just a few. She worked in the business world for a few years until 1993 when her husband opened up a private veterinary practice where she worked as office manager before starting a family and taking time off to raise their kids.
In 2014 she came to Wild Stallion Vineyards to work on a part-time basis for her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Karen Cress. That job quickly moved into the role of event manager. Her years of “on the job training” as office manager, team mom, room mom, Church leadership positions, etc. have given her a keen eye for organization. She has a love for working with people to create the best event possible and to keep people wanting to come back to Wild Stallion Vineyards not only for the great wine and food but also for the excellent service provided.
Elyssa Niebel – Marketing Coordinator
Elyssa graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. She interned here at Wild Stallion Vineyards during college where she learned the ins and outs of event coordinating. During her internship she decided she wanted to pursue a career in the events field. So of course she was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work at Wild Stallion Vineyards after graduation. She has made it her mission to tell everyone that, “Yes, there is a vineyard in the Woodlands!”
Sara Cress – Chef
What do you get when you cross a chef with a stand-up comic? You get our Chef Sara. She is self-taught, well traveled, from Napa to Italy, and South America to expand her cooking skills. For the last forty years, Sara has been enriching the lives of many with her unique and creative cooking style. Sara is continually expanding her repertoire as she learns from other great chefs at events she attends locally and abroad. We are extremely thankful to be able to present her at WSV.
